Lost Baggage
Time taken to retrieve bags from baggage claim
Standing at baggage claim not knowing if your bag is going to turn up in a minute or if it's lost somewhere on the other side of the country
Cost of parking
Cost of a taxi to the airport
Cost of catching public transport
Catching public transport with several large suitcases/any luggage.
Queues, the length thereof and the waiting therein.
Rude passengers
Delays, when you're already late

Cancelled flights and having to get on another flight
Cancelled flights and having to get a hotel room for the night because the next flight isn't until the next day
Cancelled flights and having to pay more to get on another flight to get home/to your destination in time for something
Going through the metal detectors when you suddenly realise how much jewelry you are wearing/how many metal items to have to take off.
People taking a long time to go through security ahead of you
No place to sit down and put shoes back on after going through security
Being stuck next to a really chatty person on a long flight
Having to ring all your friends and beg for a lift to the airport at 5am the next day
The traffic in the pick up/drop off zone
Trying to find your friend who is picking you up/who you are picking up
Terrible passport photos (why can't we smile?)
The options for food at the airport
The cost of food at the airport
Trouble finding a good cup of coffee at the airport
The lack of clear options for public transport to/from the airport in the airport
Difficulties with language barriers
Long stop overs with little to do
Finding a charge point for your electronics
Not having anything to do during medium length stopovers - too short to go explore the city, to long to just mull around
Having to throw away items because your bags were too heavy
Having to pay high costs just to take an extra bag/more weight on the flight
