Investigation at Brisbane Airport

Date: 22 March 2015
Investigator: Felix,Galo and Louis
Objectives:To identify the real problems of the domestic terminal of Brisbane Airport.

Domestic Terminal         Time: 10.00 am - 11.00 am
Problems:
1.All check-in,cafe and other services are at the same stair, take a long time to walk from one side to the other.

2.Several machine breakdown, include ATM and luggage scales.

3.Trolley charge for $4, which is too expensive.

4.Few charge points and they are hard to find and use.

5.Luggage carousel too low,we have to bend down to claim the luggage.
6.Only 10 chairs by the carousel.
7.Parking fee is too high, which took us $15 after less than an hour's investigation.

8.Hand washing water is too hot and we can't adjust to cool water.

9.Obscure signage.

10.Information desk is hard to find.

11.I saw whole (or two) sports team reclaiming and counting their luggage at the baggage reclaim which was congested.I can tell they have trouble.

International Terminal     Time: 11.15 am - 11.40 am
Contrasts to domestic terminal:
1.Several stairs, each provides different service.
2.Trolley free of charge.
3.Enough ATM and currency exchange is easy to find.
4.Not just chairs, but couch. There are plenty of couch and they're comfortable.
5.An entertainment machine which is fun.

6.I can adjust the water temperature while washing hands.

Problems:
1.Hard to find a charge point either.
2.Parking fee is the same as it of domestic terminal.
3.Pick-up lane was congested.
